Medsaf was founded because a friend of Vivian’s died from taking a fake malaria pill in her first year of visiting Nigeria for the first time in her life. The shock from the tragedy inspired her to come up with a solution to provide a solution to the people of Nigeria. She is an award-winning founder having received recognition from Forbes, The British Royal Family, Women in Africa, Seedstars and many more, as a high-impact entrepreneur. She brings an innovative approach learned from earlier moments in her career. She has won a myriad of awards for being a leader in sales. Prior to Medsaf she launched a hybrid solar energy company in Nigeria and home health care agencies in the United States. She hails from Chicago Illinois and has traveled the world for business and pleasure. She completed undergraduate studies at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and an MBA program in the US, France, and Brazil. Melissa Bime is the CEO of Infiuss Health, which is a SAAS platform for powering remote clinical research and clinical trials in Africa. Prior to starting this company, Melissa had previously built software for blood donor recruitment and blood delivery. She has experience with building and operating clinical software and a really good understanding of building technology for the African Continent. Melissa Bime is a Registered Nurse from Cameroon. While in Nursing school, Melissa got to experience firsthand the challenges patients faced across diverse health care settings in Africa. She is passionate about addressing these problems and believes that by leveraging technology, we can go a long way to provide solutions to these problems. After completing Nursing school, Melissa decided to start INIFUSS, which is a startup that connects researchers, research facilities, and pharmaceutical companies to patients and participants for clinical research and clinical trials in Africa.
