The fossil HR has an e-ink display that is always on, a 12 + day battery life, and a unique and beautiful design. The Garmin Vivomove Style on the other hand is much lighter, has an AMOLED touch screen underneath the analog hands, and also has a decent battery life (approximately 4 days). I test out all of the features in this video, including workout tracking, visibility in bright and dark settings, and the interfaces and apps. These watches both work very well as hybrid smartwatches for Android phones or for iPhones.
