Pandas is a great module for preparing and analyzing data in Python. In this module, we’re going to add Pandas to our default installation of Python, then, we’ll test it by getting Microsoft Access data from the database we created in the last video we made on this playlist. This will require us to use pyodbc to make a connection, then use Pandas to put that data into a DataFrame. Pandas is a great tool for manipulating tabular data in-memory for various purposes, like data wrangling or cleaning. It is very effective for writing your own custom extract, transform, and load procedures; it gives the coder very fine control over each step of a process without having to rely on the overhead of other tools.
