On September 25, 2021, I had the honour of speaking at the inaugural World of Retro Computing Expo in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. I chose to speak about my history with 8-bit computers and how they influenced my life. I thought it would be interesting to how other people around the world were influenced by what we now call retro and vintage computers. I reached out to several international YouTubers — some you will know and others only now you are being introduced to — with some questions and asking them to reminisce about their first experiences with personal computers and how they were affected by these new high-tech machines.
