While navigating Windows, it's a bit tricky to use the joystick on the Ally as a mouse, but the touchscreen is responsive enough that I can use the tip of my finger to click on most things. Right-clicking is a pain, however. → Does Windows let you instantly resume games after sleep? • Not really? But I have put the ROG Ally to sleep while running Genshin and after reconnecting to the server the game still runs as usual. → Should I get this or a Steam Deck? • If you want the simplest way of thinking about it: are most of the games you play unavailable on Steam, or are most of your games on Steam? If the former, consider the ROG Ally if you're fine with the quirks of using Windows on a small touchscreen device with no mouse. If the latter, a Steam Deck might be a better fit, depending on your budget.
