#homeless #unhoused #homelessinamerica
People are working but still can't afford proper housing, causing homelessness in America to increase at a record rate.
This video incorporates interview segments with a homeless man, and relates what he says to news reports and articles from the past year. These stories combined illustrate that many people are being priced out of housing.
There are people in this country who are working as Highschool principals, accountants, firemen, and police officers, yet they cannot afford a house or apartment anywhere near the communities where they work.
As a result, many people are living in tents, hotels, campers, and garages.
If having these kind of jobs puts people at a risk of becoming homeless, then how are the people who are already homeless supposed to better their situation?
Here are the links to the stories I mentioned in the video.
