Chip shortage is a real problem effecting lots of manufacturers. Eben Upton, founder and former trustee of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, and now CEO of Raspberry Pi, describes the current semiconductor supply situation as “hand-to-hand-combat,” and that it’s “unlikely to end until 2023”. The current global chip shortage has put the PC component market on edge. And it doesn't look like the pressure will be lifting any time soon, with STMicro's CEO, Jean-Marc Chery, now chiming in with his 2023 prediction.
