On this episode we take an in-depth look at a recent purchase that more of a slow burn while window shopping but ended up really exciting me in the metal. I've always loved Seiko's iconic Tuna can line of professional divers but have always wanted a more accessible option that could hit a lot of those same notes for less. Thankfully, Seiko have been kind enough to release a few different affordable options to scratch that itch over the last few years but I must say this new Street Series variation is really quite tasty. Sure a safer, more basic color pallet would've a touch more versatile but these warmer pale gold tones honestly add a nice punch of personality. I even found an excellent OEM bracelet option in the 49X8JG, originally sourced from the also iconic Seiko Monster line.
