Harry talks with Ron Brownstein, senior editor at the Atlantic and senior political analyst for CNN about his recent Atlantic article, “How Trump Is Dividing Minority Voters.” We tend to think of the upcoming election as a struggle for the votes of a very narrow slice of potential swing voters. In fact, Trump has posted noteworthy increases in support among minority voters, and by recent measures may have the backing of 45% of Hispanic voters and 20% of African-American voters. Those increases appear to be driven by perceptions that Trump would be a better steward of the economy than Biden.
