We frequently use our InstantPots for meals and a favorite (that is almost impossible to mess up) is soups. This week we made a family favorite, bacon cheeseburger soup, and now I'm sharing with you. I do not measure things very well but it makes it easier to scale up or down in my opinion.
Ingredients:
Oil of your choice (we prefer olive)
1 onion cut up (we do soup friendly chunks)
Hamburger (I used 2lbs)
Potatoes (rice makes a nice substitute)
Diced tomatoes
Crumbled bacon
Block(s) of cream cheese
Spice/seasoning of choice
Broth or water
Heat oil on sautéed and lightly cook onions, add hamburger and brown then drain grease, turn off sautée. Add other ingredients in order and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes then do a quick release. Top as you please and enjoy!
