One of our favorite things about octopuses is their ability to escape from even the most difficult circumstances. We had so much fun working on our previous octopus escape room challenges that we decided to make more escape videos. An entire series dedicated to our little escape artists.
In today’s video, our octopus is locked in a lantern. There are two ways out. He can push or pull the handle on the inside of the lantern towards the left which will push the latch away from the door. The other way out is by reaching out and pulling the latch off the door directly.
This is the first of many escape challenges. We’ll be posting an episode of Octopus Escapes every other Friday at 6pm Eastern Time.
As always, you, the viewers, are welcome to participate in future videos. If you have an idea for an escape challenge, we’d love to hear it. You can use the form on our website to submit your ideas or simply leave a detailed comment here.
We’ll also be revisiting the same escape challenges with the same octopus after a couple of days to see how well he remembers his way out of individual escape challenges. We’ll be sharing these with you as well.
We hope you’re all as excited as we are about this new mini series on OctolabTV.
