I bought myself a trashcan! First off I want to apologize for the unfortunate microphone placement for this video, I'm still getting used to my new setup. I was looking for a desktop solution for editing videos so I could have my MacBook pro back as a full time laptop. The Mac Mini and Mac Studio weren't an option for me at this time because of budget reasons, so I decided to go with a 6,1 Late 2013 Mac Pro with a 6 core Xeon, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and the dual AMD Firepro D500 GPU's. I got mine from a company called Mac of All Trades, so this is also a review of how they did with the refurbishment of this machine. In this video I'll test video render and export times with the 6 core it came with. After that I'll be upgrading the CPU to a 12 core Xeon which was the highest spec CPU you could get with this model.
