While we loved seeing all the animals on exhibit, we were there in particular hoping to catch sight of an animal we had never seen before in person, a giant panda. Very few US zoos have giant pandas but this is one of them. We will tell you the details you need to visit the National Zoo and share with you cute animal footage (the most important part of any zoo video). And you'll see whether or not we finally got to see a panda in person. CORRECTION: In this video, we mention that there are only three zoos in United States that currently have giant pandas. We say that in addition to the Smithsonian Zoo, the other two US zoos with giant pandas are in Atlanta and Nashville. This was only half right. We misspoke on which zoo in Tennessee has giant pandas. The correct location to see giant pandas in Tennessee is Memphis Zoo - not Nashville Zoo. Sorry for the error.
