The dilemma over the attempt to prosecute the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello is putting the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC under the spotlight. But the EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has vowed to pursue it to a logical conclusion. Olukoyede vowed to resign as EFCC chairman, if the embattled former Kogi Governor is not prosecuted. He also vowed that those who obstructed the arrest of Bello will be brought to justice. Meanwhile, the anti-graft agency has arrested the immediate past Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika over alleged 8.06 billion naira fraud. The EFCC has also slammed a new four-count charge on former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele.
