Hello everyone & welcome to another video. This time it's a bit different as I am talking about a topic that gets very little airtime here on YT & it's about watch straps.
I was on the lookout for a sailcloth-style strap to swap out from the bracelet giving my San Martin BB58 Homage more of a casual look - Check the video review of that watch here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU2zdgkYp_w
Anyway, I came across these guys out of Adelaide here in South Australia who are producing exactly what I was looking for! - www.artemstraps.com
I got hold of two straps, one blue sailcloth with white stitching & another in black with grey stitching. I have had them on the wrist for the past couple of weeks to test them out & I am really quite impressed. The design is very thoughtful & is clearly focused on delivering comfort & durability. One thing that really surprised me was how flexible the straps are from the start...I have had a few leather straps & it can take a bit of time to "wear them in" ...that's not the case with these. There are quite flexible from the first moment.
The straps are available in a variety of colours & can come loop-less for fitting with a deployant clasp (which I would recommend) or the traditional version with a variety of buckle finishes.
Not only do the straps come in a wide range of lug widths but they also come with different length options to suit all wrist sizes...very convenient!

See you in another video soon!
