ABOUT THE TANK BY OWNER:
Tank is made my Oceanic with an overflow in the middle. It's measure as 36Lx20Tx18W. The scapes is made up by all tonga rocks. I'm currently housing a platium and doni clowns hosted on a RBTA. I have also go a yellow, hippo and chevron tang (small tank for them but they've been happy in there for couple years) so really don't see why they are not happy for 1-2 more years until I have a chance to get bigger tank.
As far as corals go, I'm fascinating with the colors on Zoanthids and find the challenge on Acros therefore on the left side of my tank it's Zoas dominate and on the right side of the tank it's SPS dominate.
For husbandry, I run a PM calcium reactor with diy regulator, it's being monitored by my Apex for PH. I also run a 20gal tank of cheatos powered by diy led. Cheatos are trimmed almost weekly as the amount of flows I put thru this tank and the lights really made the cheatos grow at a good rate. I do not run GFO but a cup of carbon to finest the water. I do not run filter socks as wife caught me putting filter socks in the washing machine and she banned me from doing it so I don't use it anymore. I do 20gal WC every month or so.
I feed my fish with "new life spectrum" pellets, mysis shrimp whenever I feel like, reef chili, oyster feed and amino acid to the corals.
My tank has low maintenance since everything is automated and controlled by the Apex. I try to enjoy it more than stressing out worry about the tank.
