This is my 1973 Marshall Super Lead that Dan Gower modded for me with a full Jose Mod + DC Heaters and an Insert Loop.
It's by far the best Amp I've ever played and it sounds exactly like I wanted it to sound. This Mod, which was created by Jose Arredondo in the 80s, was used by Guitarists such as Joe Holmes, John Sykes, Mick Mars, Steve Vai and many more.
The only thing I use in front of the Amp is a Noise Gate to get rid of the Radio Signals that my Pickups are picking up, other than that I'm going straight into the Amp. No Overdrives needed.
For getting closer to Joe Holmes' sound, I use a Lexicon pcm41 in the Loop, which he uses as a slight Gain Boost and for its specific sound.
I use OwnHammer MRBW M25 IRs, which are based on an old Marshall Cab with pre-Rola G12M-25 Greenbacks.
All the Reverb and Delay are added in Cubase.
