This Samsung Laptop was unable to boot as it could no longer see the hard disk or any other device to to a BIOS error. To re program the BIOS we need to un solder the EEPROM from the motherboard. I do this using a hot air gun. To re program the EEPROM I used a TL866LS programmer. The BIOS file was found on the internet (link below). The programmer comes with software to operate it but it is a good idea to visit the programmer's website to get the latest version. To re solder the EEPROM I first prepare the board with liquid flux. I chose to re solder the chip by hand! The laptop now boots up as it should.
