The CMA has updated their concerns about the Microsoft Activision deal and its huge Xbox news today for gamers. It would seem that the CMA concerns about the possibility of a Call of Duty exclusive to Xbox future are much less founded now. Instead, they have focused on the cloud gaming concern which could possibly be addressed by Microsoft's deal with Nvidia, Boosteroid, and Ubitus. PlayStation gamers will still have access to Call of Duty but the 10 year Call of Duty deal still needs to be signed by Sony. The EU Commission has also made some important statements regarding the Microsoft Activision Blizzard purchase and statements from MLex indicate that bringing Call of Duty to 150 million more players, and offering a 10-year deal for all Activision games to everyone could turn the tide in Microsoft's favor.
