County Antrim is one of the six counties that make up Northern Ireland, one of the thirty-two counties of the whole of Ireland, and is part of the United Kingdom. The land stretches over an area of roughly 3,046 square kilometers and has a population of 615,384 according to recent census figures, making it the most populous county in Northern Ireland.
The county is surrounded by the North Channel to the east, the Irish Sea to the southeast, Belfast Lough and Lough Neagh to the south while to the west is County Londonderry. The largest city in the province of Ulster is Belfast which is a vibrant cultural and economic center that is a popular destination for tourists.
County Antrim is known for its beautiful natural features, including the Antrim Coast and Glens, and unique rock formations like the Giant’s Causeway along with coastline features like broad valleys, gorgeous beaches, steep cliffs, and small fishing villages.
