On Sunday 5 September 2021, a symposium on Franco-German cooperation in polar research and art took place at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen. In the run-up to the evening performance of Ludwig von Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 "Pastorale" at the Musikfest Bremen, participating artists discussed with Thomas Albert (Intendant Musikfest Bremen) and Prof. Antje Boetius (Director Alfred Wegener Institute) how nature inspires us humans and how humans are changing our planet. The symposium's partner was the French "Eté polaire" ("Polar Summer"), a series that organises many events in France and internationally. This Video shows the best-of-scenes of the symposium.
