We show how to decode Information Society's infamous "300bps N,8,1 (Terminal Mode or ASCII Download)" story from their 1992 CD, "Peace and Love, Inc." using mostly vintage equipment from 1992 or earlier: a Sony CFD-120 boombox, a 64modem, a Commodore 64C, Super Snapshot cartridge, and (from the last decade) a Cositon Telephone Recorder Adapter. Also, learn a bit about analog modems in the process! Stick around after for a reading of the band's crazy story.
