Back in 2000, when the news was released that Kennywood would tear down the Steel Phantom coaster, my dad decided to take his camcorder to Kennywood to record some footage of the coaster in it's final year of operation. Since then, the tape has just been sitting in a cabinet collecting dust, until I came across it and converted it to DVD. Some of it is quite good, and I'm glad I came across it as footage of the old Phantom is not very common. My dad also took some footage of the Pittfall, a thrill ride which was removed from the park last year. All of the footage was recorded on July 7th, 2000 on a Canon ES900 Video8 camcorder. Also, I make a brief cameo towards the end of the video.
