There are two situations to consider when merging Excel Files with VBA. 1. Do you control the Excel Workbooks being consolidated? 2. Does someone else own the Excel files being merged? In the first situation, it’s relatively easy to consolidate the Excel worksheets as you can design the process so that you have clean data in Export Sheets. In the second situation, there is more work to do as the Excel files will have to have export range names added or special excel tabs with formulae referencing the consolidation data.
