I made this short film before The Last Jedi even went into production, but somehow it feels a lot more relevant now that TLJ has come out and caused such controversy. Huge thanks to BrizzyVoices for voicing Rey. Check her out: null What I wanted to do with this project was to make an animated Star Wars short without any lightsabers or crazy CGI. I wanted to explore what a simple conversation between master and padawan would look like, and in particular to bridge the original trilogy (Luke) with the new trilogy (Rey) by using a prequels story element (Midi-Chlorians), and have it all stand on its own in these 3 short minutes. It's not perfect, but I'm super proud of it nevertheless.
