For me, building a hot rod is all trial and error. I was originally running an Old Yankee Speed Shop 1937-40 Reverse Eye Rear Spring on my 1932 Roadster. I wasn’t overly happy with how soft the rear end was, so I swapped that out with the original 35/36 spring to see if it would stiffen up (it didn’t). I decided to put the reverse eye spring back in and add one more leaf. Third time’s a charm because it’s just how I want it now!
