Collin Limās acoustic K-pop single āBreeze Uā bottles the essence of love at its first stage: catching feelings. āThe ābreezeā in the song symbolizes love as the kinetic energy that spins the figurative pinwheel at oneās heart,ā Collin explains.
To film the āBreeze Uā music video, the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter traveled to Korea, where he was born, for the first time in over two decades. The result is a visual story that explores themes of nostalgia and home. āThrough this music video, I wanted to capture the nostalgic sceneries and share my emotional journey in Korea for the first time in 24 years,ā Collin says. āThe narrative in the film follows my footsteps in a search through various locations in Korea, such as the famous Han River in Seoul, Eurwangni Beach in Incheon, and Haenggung-dong in Suwon, carrying a single picture in my hand.ā The music video suggests that he is searching for a love interestābefore ultimately revealing that the photograph was an old picture taken of Collin when he was a child in Korea.
