These are my recommendations on the Best Cameras for YouTubers at different price points and a demonstration of the quality and feature you'll get as you incrementally spend a little more money. As of March 2016.
This is an over simplification of the criteria I look for when choosing a camera but if I went over every single factor this video would be over an hour long. Simplicity is key and honestly I would be happy with any one of these camera as my main YouTube gear. (excluding my cellphone because it sucks lol...)
I didn't bother with too much with color correcting or post process optimization of the video clips for a more accurate comparison.
