After it's launch in 2003, Call of Duty was an instant success, going from peak to peak after every new release, all the way up until Black Ops 2, where it took the title of being one of the most successful series' in the history of gaming. However, following the release of Call of Duty Ghosts, sales and popularity has been in consistent decline, all the way up until the most recent COD - Call of Duty, Cold War. What could have caused such a downfall? Was simply the fact that people got bored over time? Was it a decline in quality? Was it the undermining of the skill gap?
