Step Up connects Minneapolis youth with Twin Cities employers through internships that build careers and lead to a more diverse, skilled and equitable workforce. Each year, Step Up provides training, paid summer internships and other career opportunities for 1,400 Minneapolis youth (ages 14-21) at over 200 employers in 15 industries. Step Up has created over 31,000 internship opportunities since 2003, yielding a competitive talent pipeline, a stronger economy and millions of dollars in wages for interns.
