Today me and my friend Evan read Chinese newspapers in the park in Chinese, and Chinese people were shocked to see us reading in Chinese. Speaking Chinese as a foreigner is one thing, but seeing non-Chinese people reading is arguably more impressive to a Chinese person as reading in Chinese is really difficult.
