We all know the Sonos Connect is way too expensive. This is an experiment to see if I could create a Sonos line out hack from my Ikea Symfonisk by using a speaker to line level converter to convert the amplified woofer and tweeter signal, combine them with a Y cable, then connect it to a Bluetooth speaker or hifi system. tl;dr; the quality isn't that great with this technique but it does work. I'm not 100% sure this won't makes the amps a bit unhappy but it seems that combining line level signals wouldn't cause a short. It's like combining any other signal once it's de-amplified, right? Do this at your own risk.
