Encryption... for Business Owners | What do business owners need to know about Encryption? On this show I talk about Encryption and what business owners need to know about it to protect their business and take action if employees steal client lists, trade secrets, intellectual property or any other proprietary information. I recently had a client who did not have the encryption codes for two computers that were used by former employees that went to a competitor. The client want us to forensically image the drives and look for evidence of documents, power point slide decks and other data that was potentially emailed, downloaded or backed up to a remote device. Without the encryption codes this is extremely difficult, costly and time consuming. ++++ I am passionate about Risk Mitigation. I want educate business owners on what they can do to mitigate risk in their businesses and how protect themselves from those in their inner circle.
