In this very short video, I'll explain how to use the "Templates" folder that is present in your home directory to be able to quickly create any document template you want.
This works on elementary OS, but also on any distribution that comes with a "Templates" folder and uses a functional file manager.
In my setup, I have only three document templates: LibreOffice Writer, Calc, and Impress documents, but you could create a GIMP project, an html file, or whatever you like !
