At a time when local communities are demanding sweeping changes to the traditional justice system, how can government agencies, justice system stakeholders, communities, victims, and justice-involved individuals work together? This session will engage justice system leaders in a wide-ranging conversation on what community justice means in 2020—including strategies for centering community voices in solutions while balancing public safety objectives—and where we go from here.
