These are basically cameras with fixed lenses...they offer a little more than a point and shoot or a camera phone, but not quite as much as a DSLR or mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. I have one of these for my everyday photography and it comes in really handy if I want to get everything from a wide angle photograph to a fully zoomed in photo!
