Hosted by Achieve Twin Cities and Step Up, this three part diversity, equity and inclusion series is led by expert trainers, Dr. Abdul Omari and Shamayne Braman, who explore topics such as mentorship and relationship-building, understanding and utilizing cultural intelligence, and creating and fostering inclusive spaces.
Our first session, hosted virtually on June 28 and featuring Shamayne Braman, Chief People Officer for Sonos, addressed ways to cultivate a mentor mindset in three parts: building a foundation, peeling back the curtain and being clear with communication.
