As part of this series, we're sharing what you should do to get into your dream university in the USA in the Fall or, in other words, August or September of 2023. We're on Step 1 of 27, which is Choose your Major. This step has four items: 1. Visit 10 to 15 University Websites 2. Explore Majors 3. Understand Curriculum Details 4. Narrow down to 2 to 3 Majors Let's look at the first item, Visit 10 to 15 University Websites. The recommended time to complete this item is from March 1st to March 15th of 2022. Your goal is to start getting a general sense of each university. Visit our Top Universities in the USA – National University Rankings page. We've left the link in the description below. Remember, you're not choosing your universities at this time. You will do that in a later step. For now, your objective is to visit different university websites. Don't just focus on the top universities. Visit ones from across the list. Once on the websites, don't just skim them. Spend an hour or two on each one to familiarize yourself with details such as About Us, Graduate or Undergraduate programs, depending on what you're targeting, Academics, etc. Your goal is to start getting a general sense of each university. The recommended time to complete this item is March 1st to March 15th of 2022. If you’re past those dates, don’t worry, as you have time to catch up. Catch up as quickly without compromising the quality of work. However, you should do your best to stick to the suggested dates from here on out.
