For training purposes.
Crews within the landing zone and the area of influence. At least three rescue or egress subjects are down slope and within the possible path of the rolling helicopter and only one ground crew starts to evade the rolling helicopter, the other two just stand there and observe on whether the helicopter is coming toward them or not.
More crews are within the zone of fling for the rotor fragments. More people were within the area of influence than needed to be to effect a rescue.
Note the uneven ground effect produced by the degree of slope which caused the helicopter main rotor to chop in to the mountain as the tail started to slide and the pilot started to correct.
