I bought a Zido Z10 Pro 4K Media Player/HTPC that runs Android to replace an aging Sybas Popcorn Hour. This video covers the saga of the initial setup, including installing a backup battery and a step-by-step guide on how to format a bare hard disk drive for use inside the Zidoo when you only have a Macintosh computer available. (We don't need no stinkin' Windows!) That is, how to format a drive as ext4 on Macintosh without running Linux.
Since the Zidoo can supposedly play 4K YouTube videos, I went ahead and shot this in 4K for fun.
