In this video, I go over the process of repairing the logic board of this Mid-2009 17" Apple MacBook Pro. The issue this board had is a very common one, where a capacitor (C7771) fails in the MCP 1.05V circuit. When this cap fails, it causes the voltage on that rail to decrease significantly, preventing the machine from powering on. In this video, I replace that capacitor, which gets the machine running like it should once again.
