Utah’s Division of Wildlife Resources has released footage of an airplane dumping fish from the air into a lake in the state’s Boulder Mountain region on July 6.
The video shows a small aircraft releasing the fish as part of efforts to restock 200 high-elevation lakes across the state.
“The airplane holds hundreds of pounds of water and can drop 35,000 fish in a single flight without reloading,” the agency said on Facebook.
“The fish are between 1-3 inches long, so they flutter down slowly to the water,” they said.
