A Russian missile strike has hit a crowded shopping centre in the Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk.
ASPI Senior Analyst Dr Malcolm Davis says the Russians “don’t care about human life” or about “discrimination between military and civilian targets”.
“I would go so far as to say that this is deliberate attacks on civilian targets to try and essentially intimidate the Zelensky government into some sort of settlement,” he told Sky News Australia.
“It’s not going to work – the Zelensky government is very clearly fighting back.
“But this is the Russian way of war.
“They don’t discriminate between civilians and combatants.”
