Using multiple lighting techniques, this tutorial shows how you can combine a handful of photographs into a single composite image. By using these composite techniques in Photoshop, photographers can create spectacular product photos that often look better than images created entirely in camera. Some of the concepts this tutorial focus on are lighting metal, working with reflections in chrome, hiding reflections on shiny material, adding highlights and shadows, removing glare and increasing color and contrast, and using layer masks and gradients in order to place an image into a final composite.
