A federal judge ordered the release of Douglas Jensen, of Des Moines, Iowa, accused of chasing Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman on January 6 – at least partly because of videos appearing to show him confusing the Capitol building and the White House.
In court filings, Jensen’s attorney, Christopher Davis, said his client has sought mental health treatment while at the D.C. Jail and now says he’s “disillusioned” by former President Donald Trump and the QAnon conspiracy theory.
