Dr. Allision Fong is a research coordinator at the Alfred Wegener Institute, Germany. On MOSAiC she is the ecosystems coordinator. Her role in MOSAiC is to cover all the things that fall under the umbrella of ecological processies and functions. Ecology is at the intersection of both – physics and chemistry. She talks about Arctic Ocean, nutrean biogeochemistry, it´s distribution of nutrience in the Arctic Ocean and how that influences perma production that she hopes to be able to observe during MOSAiC.
