Slow-pace video showing the process of opening an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra to replace the original thermal pads with custom-size, extremely high conductivity, thermal pad set.
Procedure is the same for the XC3 models and 3090 FTW3/XC3 models (although they also have pads on the backplate side).
This is also the same process as my previous video. Nothing new beside different pieces in the set used.

Material used:
- Cleaning: Paper towel + 99% isopropyl alcohol

- Thermal paste: SYY 15.7 W/m-K paste off Amazon
Results:
- Memory temperature drop of ~25°C under max load
- GPU core temperature drop of a few degrees
