With some of the hardest landscapes in the world, Patagonia is also home to some of the most majestic peaks in the world, but this is a place that can turn on you quicker than bad egg, and even climbing of an easier nature can become impossible, if the conditions don't favour you.
And so we come to the story of the First Ascent of Matteo Della Bordella, Sean Villanueva O'Driscoll and Leo Gheza, who upon seeing an unclimbed line on the peak of Aguja Mermoz in the Fitz Roy Massive, saw their opportunity to create history, and to put their names in the topo books of the future.
