My friend Brian (Argentinian Food Vlogger in China) came to visit DC! I guess we both qualify as polyglots and speak 4 of the same languages, so we decided to go out in Rockville, i.e. the largest “Chinatown” in Washington, D.C. to make some friends. I’m not really sure what we qualify as? Latinos speaking Chinese? White guys speaking Chinese? Anyway, I had to run some errands and we had a great a chat where we surprised the people working there and they had some funny reactions! I love learning foreign languages because you get to meet and have conversations with people in a way that you probably never would otherwise.
