Rishi Sunak poked fun at Sir Keir Starmer’s handling of the Angela Rayner council house sale row as the two leaders clashed at Prime Minister’s Questions.
Sir Keir had attempted to use PMQs to grill Mr Sunak about Liz Truss’s new book and the impact of the former premier’s mini-Budget.
But Mr Sunak changed the subject and suggested Sir Keir should spend a “bit less time reading that book and a bit more time reading the deputy leader’s tax advice”.
Sir Keir hit back and accused Mr Sunak of an attempt to “smear a working class woman”.
